‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16, episode 13 preview: First video of ‘Decaying Morality’
While tonight’s new episode of “Law & Order: SVU” generated many headlines due to its director in Mariska Hargitay, so what is coming up after this? An episode in “Decaying Morality” that seems to be much more focused on simply telling a powerful story.
As the video below reveals, the major case this time revolves around a father who decides to take the law into his own hands after his daughter accuses someone of rape. Basically, this leads to him acting out, feeling like the police are not going to be able to help him. This is going to lead to what the video teases as one of the most shocking and important episodes of the entire season so far.
For a few more details as to what to expect, just in case you have not seen them already, take a look at the full synopsis below:
“Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) find a teenaged girl crying in the street, her clothes torn. Jenna Davis (guest star Haley Lu Richardson) says she was raped in a pizzeria bathroom by Jerome Jones (guest star Kamal Bolden). Jones has a criminal record as well as a pending lawsuit against the NYPD, but with little evidence to go on, the SVU releases him until an arrest can be made. With emotions running high, Jenna’s father (guest star Jamie McShane) takes the law into his own hands with a decision that will change their lives forever.”

Can’t wait until next week. Who won’t be in next weeks show? Is it possible for all of them to be in it? Thank goodness Kelli Giddish will be there. Let’s hope Amanda will be feeling better. Chief Patton may be gone, but he’s sure to have lots of time on his hands real soon. That’s not good. Danny Pino was very good in tonights episode. You could see the smoke coming out of his ears as the last scene ended.
