‘Community’ season 6: See Alison Brie, Joel McHale, more in new Yahoo spot (video)

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that “Community” will be coming onto Yahoo Screen starting on March 17, and to go along with that, the company has also launched something else that is rather spectacular: A pretty fun new promo for the show!

The unfortunate side of this is that there is no real footage of season 6 in the clip below, but then again, Yahoo probably realizes that they have no real pressure on their end to release anything more. This is already a series with one of the biggest followings out there, and what they really care about more than anything else is roping this fanbase in and getting them to all catch the series when it airs.

This video features the likes of Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Danny Pudi, and really everyone in the attached photo alongside a brief appearance of Paget Brewster (“Criminal Minds”), who is one of the new additions this season. She and Keith David are going to fill the gap left in part by losing Chevy Chase, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jonathan Banks over the past couple of years. We’re also presuming that we will see less John Oliver, given that he is now a very busy man over on “Last Week Tonight.”

In case you missed the news earlier this week, Yahoo plans on launching the season with two episodes, and then after that will release one a week until the season is over. We’re sure some of the Netflix generation will hate this, but we love it. As a TV viewer, we prefer having some regulation on self-control, and to have some time to chat about a show with our friends.

Creator Dan Harmon said recently that this is not necessarily the final season of the show. Therefore, don’t think of this as the final curtain call, depending of course on how the ratings are.
