‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: A score of new guest stars for Super Bowl episode
Ready to see what lies ahead on “The Blacklist”? Well, we at least have some news about some more guest stars who will be stopping by during the upcoming Super Bowl episode.
Per Entertainment Weekly, the NBC series has brought on board a variety of notable guest stars for this February 1 installment, which is the first for the show in a rather long time. We begin here with the news about the excellent David Strathairn joining the show in the role of the Director. He is a super-secretive man leading the US National Clandestine Service, and just as you would expect, he is not the sort of guy you will know much about when the show airs. We’re fine with that, mostly because Strathairn is quite possibly one of the most overlooked performers of the past few decades. The guy is a powerhouse.
As for some other new faces, the website also reports that you will be seeing Janel Moloney of “Alpha House” as Kat Goodson, who works alongside the Director. She is extremely confident in her abilities, but not exactly warm or welcoming to outsiders.
Finally, Gloria Reuben of “ER” has the role of Dr. Selma Orchard, a woman who specializes at finding subconscious memories. She will be potentially in the employ of Ron Perlman, who plays the Big Bad during this two-part storyline. Reuben will be in the second part of the story, which airs on Thursday, February 8. It’s up against “Scandal,” but this show can figure it out.
Of course, we are going to have more news on this episode and more soon, so stay tuned! (Photo: NBC.)
