ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2, episode 12 preview: The path to the finale

Resurrection -Can you believe that the end of the road is almost here for “Resurrection“? There are now only two episodes left, and that is not a whole lot of time to figure out how the story for the Returned is going to come to a close. In the time that we do have, the only thing we can hope for is some great, shocking moments that give us a few more details about the characters. After all, let’s face it here: There is virtually no way that the show will be able to answer everything to the point of satisfaction. It seems almost wrong to expect something like that given the limited amount of time that is left.

For now, let’s just share the basic details for “Steal Away,” which is the super-paramount episode of the series that will be airing next week. Take a look at the official synopsis below:

“After a series of inexplicable events, Bellamy fears for the safety of Rachael and her unborn child. Preacher James predicts that the baby’s birth will unleash an ancient evil. Margaret rallies the Returned at the government facility and forms an uneasy alliance with Preacher James, and Bellamy’s government contact (Donna Murphy) warns that something big is on the horizon.”

As for what lies ahead via the promo, is it really possible for there to be millions of Returned suddenly on the scene? This is a pretty interesting question, but one with a complicated answer. The promo also suggests that there are “two episodes left,” but does not really elaborate on if this is the season, or the series as a whole. We wouldn’t be surprised if the show says farewell with a cliffhanger after watching this.
