‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 12 preview: A case hits home for the Reagans

Blue Bloods season 5Friday night was quite the milestone for “Blue Bloods,” as the hard-working cast and crew received the wonderful opportunity to celebrate a hundred episodes on the air. They also did so with an episode that brought together many different aspects of Danny Reagan’s life.

Now that we’ve said that, what about episode #101? You obviously cannot stop at the milestone and assume that it is all going to be downhill the rest of the way. There is plenty more story left to tell over the weeks ahead, and some of that is going to be profiled further on “Home Sweet Home.” This is the 12th episode of the season airing next week, and this is going to be a case that particularly hits home for Jamie. He will find a way to recruit Danny, and convince him that the case of a young teen is one that he should care about. At one point, it seems like the Reagans even try to take him in to a certain degree.

In case you have not seen it yet, take a look at the attached synopsis for some further information:

“Jamie gets Danny involved when he finds a homeless teen who claims his aunt was killed by her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Erin is angered when McCoy replaces her as the prosecutor on a case involving a corrections officer.”

We’ve only reached the halfway marker of this season, so know that there are plenty of stories ahead. While it would be nice to see some sort of continuation or reminder of tonight’s episode next week, that feels pretty unlikely to happen.
