‘The Dovekeepers’: Cote de Pablo featured in new promotional photo
CBS is planning quite a different sort of spring this year, at least when it comes to giving you a variety of different options. This includes the miniseries “The Dovekeepers,” and we have a first-look photo here of one of its stars in Cote de Pablo! She has been working for many weeks on the project, which is based on the story of the Siege of Masada, in Malta. It is a very different, but still heroic, role than what she is known for from “NCIS.” Due to her massive fan following, she is probably one of the big draws for executive producer Roma Downey when it comes to garnering ratings.
If you have not heard, “The Dovekeepers” is going to air on CBS this March, so you are really not being forced to wait nearly as long as we originally thought that you would. This miniseries runs for only four hours, so it will be on and over before you know it.
As for whether or note de Pablo could be returning to “NCIS” anytime soon, we still have not heard any word one way or the other. We remained convinced that it is something that could feasibly happen at some point; if nothing else, it would be a great story for either a sweeps episode, a premiere, a finale, or some other milestone. The ball is in the court of both her and also CBS to make something like that happen.
For now, we’re just going to have some more coverage of “The Dovekeepers” as time passes, including an eventual promo video when that is released by the network in the future.

I had heard about the book “The Dovekeepers” but hadn’t read it. When I heard Cote had landed the role of Shirah I obviously had to read it. What a story! Cote is perfect for the part. I’m sure looking forward to the end of March. I too, like many others hope that she will a least make a guest appearance once in awhile on NCIS if she doesn’t want to come back full-time. I’ve missed Ziva. That being said I’m anxious to see what else she will be in. She is one of my favourite actresses.

My family, I and a few friends are gathering to have dinner and watch this mini series!!! Can not wait to see Cote de Pablo and cast rock the show!!!!! Yes we would love to see her on NCIS!!!

Looking forward to March 31 and still hoping that she can return to NCIS. She brought so much to the show for many of the fans. Nice to see her on the People’s Choice Awards.

I can hardly wait for March 31! Now, if she returned to NCIS as well, that would simply be the icing on the cake! I still miss her as Ziva David very much!
