‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 10 review: Lindsay’s move; an explosive situation

Chicago PD -

Chicago PD” has been a show with quite a bit going on virtually every single episode that it’s been on the air, and Wednesday night’s was no different. With that being said, we still want to simplify it as much as we can into a few key points that are going to be important for the weeks ahead.

Lindsay’s departure – Finally, Erin Lindsay decided that she was ready to join the task force, and said goodbye to the team after a particularly dangerous case. She seems ready and excited for the new opportunity, but it is also clear she will be missed. Will she be missed by some more than others? Well…

Halstead’s move – Who else loved that hug? We can only predict that this could be the starting point for some big things with him and Lindsay. This is a case where distance opens up a world of possibilities. In some ways, this relationship could be the exact opposite of Casey and Dawson on “Chicago Fire.”

A fiery mess – The rescue mission for Voight and company was definitely tense! This was one of the more electrifying moments of the entire episode, but maybe also one of the hardest to watch. We’ll be honest here in saying that we also watch “American Horror Story,” and this scene with the poor woman tied up freaked us out more than most of those ones did.

We rather liked this episode, and we say that as someone who has had some major trepidation with the show as of late. There was something about the way that Lindsay left that was almost sweet, and that is not an adjective we can use for this show often. Grade: B.
