‘The Mentalist’ season 7, episode 6 video: A short Simon Baker – ‘Green Light’ tease

You’ve had to wait a little longer than usual for the newest sneak peek for “The Mentalist,” but the reasoning for that seems to be pretty clear: Due to the schedule shift to Wednesdays and the return of “The Good Wife,” there was no new episode on Sunday night.

With that being said, you can now take a look at the latest sneak peek for the show, which features none other than Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) asking a very important question to Dennis Abbott (Rockmond Dunbar): Is he being played by someone who has some information on him? The reality here is that “Green Light” is a continuation of sorts of the Abbott story that we first saw two episodes ago, in which we learned that his own history, and some complicated times that he had back with the DEA, could make it a whole lot harder for his wife to be confirmed to a new top-level position in the government.

If Abbott is able to help his wife, it’s very possible that he will need Jane’s help. After all, isn’t this something that almost every on this show needs at some point, regardless of whether or not they really want to ask? We like to think so.

This episode should be entertaining, and just from the standpoint of looking towards the end, it is also very interesting to note that we are almost to the halfway point of the season. That still remains quite the crazy thought for us, especially when you consider just how far we have come from the Red John days and when we never knew if Jane and Lisbon would ever get together.
