‘The Bachelor’ premiere spoilers: A Chris Soules surprise (and a meltdown)

Bachelor -Over the past month or so, we have spent so much time highlighting many of the contestants on “The Bachelor” that we have not had a whole lot of time for another important part of the job: Actually discussing some of what is to come on Monday’s massive premiere episode.

The first thing that you should remember is that it is THREE hours. We don’t know why, either, other than to make it into some sort of event where Chris Harrison wanders around and talks to big fans of the show … since that’s really exciting for viewers. The actual show itself was filmed all the way back in the fall, and it will feature on the first time quite a bit of drama. It seems at first that the cast is only 15 women, but then, another group show up to surprise Chris Soules and hope to win his heart. For more, including news on a dramatic situation, take a look at the synopsis below:

“Chris Harrison has a surprise – it’s time to start the party – but with only 15 bachelorettes? The women are equally shocked, but anxious to get the Bachelor’s attention, which some of them do with sexy moves. The first impression rose makes its appearance and it looks like the end of the night, but the evening has actually just gotten started. Harrison lures Chris away because there are 15 more women about to make their entrances. The original group of bachelorettes can only look on in horror as a seemingly endless parade of beautiful bachelorettes arrive and want to take over the scene, and the Bachelor. The party almost comes to a standstill when one beauty lets the pressure get to her and almost has a meltdown.”

Basically, this seems par for the course on the first night. You’re often tired and exhausted by the time the cocktail party arrives, and this show really keeps things going until the wee hours of the morning. That means it is easy to not be on your best behavior, and have a crying fit. Also, you’re not eating much, and there is a ton of alcohol lying around. You often know what that means…

If you missed it from last night, be sure to check out the first episode of our “Bachelor” CarterMatt Podcast! We like to think that this is a very-nice way to prepare for the season as a whole.
