‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8 spoilers: What leaves Sheldon, Leonard at odds?

Stop us when this next bit sounds familiar: On an upcoming episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” we are going to see Sheldon and Leonard in an argument.

We told you recently that this was in a way going to revolve around the two characters getting into it over something that Leonard did for the female characters, and now, more details are available! We are speaking specifically of the show’s 2015 premiere (airing January 8) entitled “The Space Probe Disintegration,” and the synopsis below provides the details:

“Wolowitz tries to distract Raj, who is anxiously awaiting data from a space probe he helped launch. Meanwhile, Sheldon and Leonard go dress shopping with Penny and Amy.“

Yep, this seems to be about right. Sheldon is angry mostly because he is having to take part in an activity that is to the benefit of someone other than himself, which is always going to grind his gears up a little bit. Eventually, maybe he learns to be cool with it. He better, since it does not quite seem like Amy is going anywhere.

As for the Wolowitz / Raj story, it sounds completely silly, and some of our favorites also do happen to be the silliest plots imaginable. Remember that episode all about where Sheldon goes at a specific time of the day? That is one that we could watch many times over, and still be pleased in the end.

There are many new episodes airing beyond this one, and hopefully, we’ll get further scoop on those in the new year.
