‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 11 spoilers: What Alicia Florrick is fighting for

Sadly, there is once again no new episode of “The Good Wife” airing on CBS tonight. With that being said, though, we still come bearing some good news: A little bit of scoop of what lies ahead on the show!

On January 4, you will see Alicia Florrick and company on the show with an episode entitled “Hail Mary.” The focus of this one is going to be very simple, and that is trying to figure out whether or not Cary will be released from prison. While you are still going to see some preparation in there for the State’s Attorney election, much of it is going to be delayed for an obvious reason: The focus really has to be a little bit more on seeing whether or not the character will join Julianna Margulies and company in the free world.

With that being said, it seems that the events of “Hail Mary” are going to, one way or another, set in place Cary’s status for the while. The photo attached here is from the still-untitled 12th episode of the season, and it features Alicia doing something that is a pretty typical campaign activity: Visiting some sort of kitchen. Maybe they are preparing food for the needy, or maybe there is another motive here.

Regardless, expect to see some clashes between Margulies and David Hyde Pierce, who has already been brilliant in a short amount of time this season. Suffice it to say, an Emmy nomination may be in his future.
