‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Dexter’ alum Jaime Murray signs up as…

Want an opportunity to see something great on “Sleepy Hollow” this season? Well, beyond all of the typical awesomeness, there is an appearance coming from Jaime Murray.

According to TVLine, the “Dexter” graduate will be stopping in for the upcoming 14th episode of the season, where she will be taking on the role of a vetala, a ghostly corpse-inhabiting demon that comes originally via Hindu lore. Basically, this sounds like the sort of being that is very bad news for everyone on the show, but really good news for us as a viewer.

Hopefully, this news also gives you something further to be excited about, since otherwise you are going to be waiting for quite a while to see the show return in January. We do already have quite the tantalizing cliffhanger in Henry’s decision to kill Moloch rather than Ichabod or Katrina Crane. Also, there is the whole issue about whether or not Captain Irving is actually dead. For the time being, we are going to be a firm “no” on that one.

Also, the website reports that “White Collar” alum Sharif Atkins has been cast in the role of Calvin Riggs, a good-looking photojournalist who could end up playing an interesting role for these characters before the story comes to a full conclusion.

Just as you would assume, though, these castings are just the beginning of many more that will likely come before the holidays are over. Keep us in mind anytime you want to get some scoop related to “Sleepy Hollow.”
