‘The 100’ season 2, episode 8 preview: ‘Sleepwalker,’ the midseason finale
Let’s start this article on “The 100” off here with a little bit of a scheduling quirk: Why do we have a new episode airing next week? Basically, we have a new installment of this show coming on without an “Arrow” lead-in, and on this particular occasion, it does not make a whole lot of sense.
Think about it this way: Had the show aired its premiere a week earlier, it could have just had this episode alongside the midseason finale for the Stephen Amell show, while it now runs the risk of having some casual viewers forget that it is on. The show is performing okay in the ratings, but we don’t want to see any drops that could put it in danger.
Now, let’s get to the episode itself. The title here is “Sleepwalker,” and if you look below, you can get a sense of some of the difficulty and devastation that is coming up for some of these characters:
“Clarke (Eliza Taylor) returns to Camp Jaha with devastating news. Finn (Thomas McDonell) struggles with the aftermath of his actions. Abby (Paige Turco) gathers information from an unlikely source and prepares for a fight. Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal Finn and Raven’s (Lindsey Morgan) relationship on the Ark.”
After this episode, the show will go on hiatus until the new year. Remember here that this is a sixteen-episode order, so we’ll probably have new episodes of this show running until around March / early April. After this, we imagine that the network will introduce a new show like they did with “The 100” last year.
