‘The Flash’ midseason finale preview: Show boss on Barry’s confrontation, Reverse Flash

The Flash -While last week’s crossover episode of “The Flash” was huge, the midseason finale tonight on The CW has the potential to actually be even bigger … however hard that is to say. There are going to be twists, turns, and surprises galore; not only that, but it’s a Christmas episode, and there should be at least a few heartwarming moments, to boot.

In the video below, you can see executive producer Andrew Kreisberg lay the groundwork for what is this episode, and a moment in particular that many are looking forward to seeing: The confrontation between Barry Allen and Reverse Flash that has been all season in the making. Barry will finally see his mother’s killer, at least to a certain extent. There is no guarantee at the moment that he is going to learn who this killer is, and what their true motives are.

The only clue that we feel comfortable giving is that remember every individual tease that we’ve received throughout the season, especially those end tags. We’re not saying necessarily that Harrison Wells is this character; rather, we’re just of the belief that some of themes of his scenes may end up being important.

This episode also has two other important stories that are not even set up much in this video: Barry finally deciding to say something in regards to his feelings for Iris West, and also learning what the next move is going to be for Caitlin Snow when she realized that Ronnie Raymond is still alive.
