‘State of Affairs’ episode 4 video: Katherine Heigl and further text-message drama

State of Affairs -Where do you want to see the story go from here on “State of Affairs“? Well, tomorrow night’s episode could give you a little more information when it comes to answers.

In the sneak peek below, you can get a little bit more of a sense of what is coming for Charlie and Nick, as the two face a crisis: The text messages are starting to get a little bit more threatening, which means in turn that the characters will have to work harder to figuring out just what the motives are. For Katherine Heigl’s character, it’s basically yet another thing added onto what is already a stacked plate of challenges.

For the show, the challenge is more making us buy into an episode where technology is part of the threat. TV shows are getting a little bit better at this now, given that we know in reality how quickly text messages can destroy you; however, there is still a part of our brain that tends to go to the action-packed scenes when talking about TV things to get excited about.

This show has proven over time that it can be intense, and there are many interesting characters. However, what it has yet to do is stabilize its audience. While the ratings seemed like an improvement of sorts last week, you have to remember that this is comparing it to a week before where the Ferguson verdict caused it to air out of whack. This episode will be the true test of the show’s strength.
