‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 9 video: Tough times for Nathaniel Buzolic’s Kol
There have been many reasons why we have found “The Originals” season 2 so far to be particularly intriguing, but one of the biggest ones is that it has by and large offered a nice window into the soul of many of the characters.
That includes Kol, and we are starting to understand more and more why this guy ended up feeling so in need of retribution in the present. In the sneak peek below from Monday’s winter finale entitled “The Map of Moments,” you can see Nathaniel Buzolic’s character get basically interrogated by Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) over the location of a diamond. This is something that is going to be a big plot point in this episode, and Kol will be center stage for almost everything that happens in this episode with Esther. He’s got his own motives, and with that in mind, we wouldn’t be surprised if Klaus and Marcel have a hard time getting him on board.
Do we expect some resolution when it comes to this story? The answer here is both yes and no. We expect there to at least be some clue as to where the story is going with Klaus and all of the other characters, but it is probably not going to be anything close to resolution.
After this episode, new episodes of “The Originals” are going to return to The CW in January. Therefore, have no fear about the show going away for a long time!
