‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: Kit Harrington, Maisie Williams, and assorted casting chatter
Even though “Game of Thrones” season 5 may not be coming out until March or April, there’s still a good bit to talk about when it comes to what some of the cast members are up to elsewhere!
We start here with Kit Harrington. According to a new report coming out right now from Deadline, the man behind the incredibly awesome Jon Snow has been tapped to appear in the movie “The Death and Life of John F. Donovan” as the title character, an American movie star who starts a pen-pal relationship with an eleven-year old, at least until assumptions start to surface that regardless of their validity, start to endanger his future as an actor. Jessica Chastian is also on board the show, which definitely suggests that this is a show that really has its you-know-what together.
Maisie Williams – This one has us really excited, mostly because we are a big fan of both Maisie and “The Last of Us.” In a full interview with IGN, the actress reveals that if a movie adaptation of the hit video game is made within the near future, she will most likely be taking on the all-important role of Ellie.
The problem with this is just that there is only a producer right now, and not a director or a script. Therefore, you could be waiting for quite a long time before knowing if there is really any sort of future at all when it comes to this franchise. Ultimately, we consider that to be quite a shame.
