‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: Natalie Dormer wants more of the guys’ … you know
If there is one thing that we have learned about “Game of Thrones” over the years, it is that people really like to take off their clothes … a lot. We’re not entirely sure that there has been another show to ever have the same amount of just random instances of this, and it is in part of the world George R.R. Martin has created … and in part because this is HBO and this is kind of how they roll.
Well, there is at least one thing that we can say about this show that we have not been able to say about others: At least they are reasonably equal-opportunity about it! There is a lot of men stripping down to go along with the women, and this all somehow became a topic of conversation for Natalie Dormer.
The woman has done so many interviews for the latest “Hunger Games” film that it is not that shocking that this eventually came up in conversation. Speaking about this to the Daily Beast, she explained a little about the show’s practices of showing skin; while they may be criticized for it occasionally, they are at least a little more equal than others:
“During the first season Alfie [Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy] Richard [Madden, who plays Robb Stark], and several of the men got naked—although not all the way … I suppose it’s just the rules of broadcast television, isn’t it? I think Thrones has been better than your average show with the equality, but they could definitely ramp it up! Absolutely.”
When it comes to man-butt, though, we still feel like the show is going to be competing with “Sons of Anarchy” for at least a while longer.
