‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: Official details on Gibbs, McGee in Christmas episode
The Thanksgiving episode of “NCIS” season 12 is right around the corner, but there is something still that is that is worth looking forward to next month on CBS: A Christmas episode that is going to feature big stories from Gibbs and McGee that could both entertain and also move you.
For the time being, here is what we know. This episode airs on Tuesday, December 16, which is a week before the hardest day of the year in December 23. (We personally say that because it’s sitting around and waiting for the joy of Christmas Eve to arrive.) “House Rules” is the title for the hour, and as you may have heard already, Mark Harmon and Sean Murray are going to get a chance to do some good, emotional stuff in here:
“The NCIS team consults with three cyber-terrorists they imprisoned after a citywide Internet shutdown the week before Christmas. Also, McGee reflects on the case and Gibbs’ infamous rules as he pens a heartfelt letter to his father.”
This episode ultimately should be a good one for reminding us of what matters the most, and that is family and loving those who are around you. While some shows opt for funny holiday specials, and others try to cram as much action in there as possible, we typically find that “NCIS” goes for holiday episodes that are tender, sweet, and occasionally a little tear-jerking. They want you to get in the season of giving, and also the season of loving each other to the fullest.
Hopefully, we’ll have much more to report on this story before it airs, so be sure to stay tuned for some more on that subject.

“…a citywide Internet shutdown the week before Christmas…”
Really? And the only people they could find to fix it are three criminals? They couldn’t find any non-criminal computer experts? And why is NCIS dealing with this and not the FBI, or NSA, or Homeland Security?
I dunno, the case part of this episode sounds pretty weak – almost as bad as a computer virus being able to infect other computers through the power cord…

My hope is that McGee realizes that Gibb’s rules are not always to be followed and you have to make your own. McGee will do away with Rule #12 and realizes that Abby is his true love and go after her. :)

Great (sarcasm button on) another boring Gibbs/McGee bonding episode. Yawners. Let take a wild guess here. Tony will either be the evening’s joke or completely insignificant. Gibbs will be heroic and save the day and gist of McGee’s letter to his father will be – Gibbs is awesome! Merry Christmas.
