‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: When is Ra’s al Ghul returning?
Ever since we first heard about Ra’s al Ghul coming aboard “Arrow” this season, we were excited! Who wouldn’t be? It is the prospect of getting to see one of the greatest people from the DC Comics world on the show.
However, since that time, the story has been somewhat lacking when it comes to giving Matt Nable a heck of a lot to do as the character. He looked sinister at the end of “The Magician” and that’s it. Given that the next new episode is technically the start of the big crossover event, it doesn’t quite look like we are going to be seeing him come up then, either.
Therefore, you are probably going to be waiting until “The Climb,” the December 10 installment that also doubles as the show’s midseason finale, to really figures out what happens. At least the just-released synopsis from The CW is good proof that the character will be turning up for sure, and that Oliver Queen will spend a little bit of time with him to boot:
“Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) returns to Starling City and tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) that her father, Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) has given Oliver 48 hours to find Sara’s killer or the League of Assassins will start killing the citizens of Starling City. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is stunned when her father (Paul Blackthorne) delivers a very special Christmas gift – her mother, Dinah (guest star Alex Kingston). Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) tries to make amends with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver sets a meeting with Ra’s al Ghul.”
What do you think right now about this episode, and is it time that we see Ra’s actually make a substantial impact in your mind? Let us know what you think in the comments.
