‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 8 spoilers: First look at ‘Flash’ crossover ‘The Brave and the Bold’
Waiting to check out the big crossover between “Arrow” and “The Flash“? Well, you’re going to be waiting for a little while longer, since there is no new episode of the Stephen Amell show airing on The CW next week (even if you are going to see another installment of “The Flash”).
Instead, the date to remember here is Tuesday, December 2, which is when the beginning of the crossover event will take place over on “The Flash.” “Flash vs. Arrow” will kick things off, and may be very well be one of the most surprisingly episodes that you see this season. How often do you get to see the two characters go head-to-head like this? Basically, the answer to that is “never.”
This photo here is actually from “The Brave and the Bold,” which is the December 3 episode of “Arrow” that brings most of Barry Allen’s team over to Starling City to finish up the storyline. We feel like this is going to be by and large self-contained, but that does not necessarily keep it from being exciting or interesting. As a matter of fact, we feel like this could be one of the best episodes to date just from the perspective of fan service and having your jaw on the ground.
In case you are curious, the villains for this crossover are expected to be both Captain Boomerang (teased at the end of last night’s “Draw Back Your Bow”) and also Ray Bivolo, one of the more intriguing meta-humans that we have seen on the show so far. Both bring something different, and hopefully, both will add some further stakes.
We’ll have more on the “Arrow” / “Flash” crossover soon, so stay tuned! Also, fire your mouse over to this link if you want to get some other TV updates sent over to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo via The CW.)
