‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Taylor Kinney, cast in ‘Arrest in Transit’

If you enjoyed the new episode of “Chicago Fire” airing on NBC Thursday night, then there is more to come in just a week in “Arrest in Transit.”

What can you specifically expect? As the synopsis below gives away, this could be a pretty big episode for Taylor Kinney, as we are going to start to learn a few more things about his new love interest Brittany. As it turns out, the two may have even more in common then what he originally thought:

“When the team responds to a semi-truck leaking hydrochloric acid in a busy intersection, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) find their relationship being put to the test. Meanwhile, Severide (Taylor Kinney) learns more about Brittany’s (guest star Serinda Swan) past and Mouch (Christian Stolte) has some difficulties in his dating life.”

Just in case you want to get some further updates on this episode, the official promo below chooses to ignore most of the storylines, and instead focuses on what may be the most dangerous one of all: Trying to survive threats from a notorious gangster, who is furious about the loss of his son and looking for someone to blame. Sometimes, accidents happen, but this is unfortunately the wrong guy to tick off.

Given the schedule for some of the other Dick Wolf shows on NBC, this may be the final episode for the next week or two. We’ll have some further updates on that in the near future, but for now our sole advice is to enjoy this story.
