‘Arrow’ season 3: Did ‘Draw Back Your Bow’ signal end for Harley Quinn hopes?
We have already written a full review of tonight’s new episode of “Arrow,” but given that we are dealing with something that we have discussed quite a bit when it comes to this show, we thought we would write an article here with some bonus coverage of one subject: Harley Quinn.
Are the hopes officially dead now for seeing the Clown Prince of Crime’s longtime “associate” on the CW show? Tonight’s new episode “Draw Back Your Bow” seemed like they very-subtly ended the hopes of Harley showing up on the show again after Diggle (David Ramsey) insinuated that she was no longer in the Suicide Squad after it was revealed that Cupid (Amy Gumenick) was going to be its latest member.
To be honest, we would be shocked if we ever see Harley again after this. This story could be a subtle way for the series to ensure that they eliminate hope of future cameos, and without making a big deal out of someone who was barely a part of the show in the first place.
Also, DC clearly has big plans for the character (who is a huge draw in comic sales now). “Gotham” has said that they may use her in the future, and it has already been revealed that Margot Robbie (“The Wolf of Wall Street”) is going to be playing the character in a “Suicide Squad” movie. We were almost worried because of the movie that we’d never see the squad again, but it nonetheless still looks like that is going to happen.
