‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 10 (fall finale) preview: Tom Mison’s Ichabod, a weapon, and a hope to kill Moloch
Tonight’s “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 episode gave us a window into the soul of a certain Abbie, and hopefully through this, you got an opportunity to know and understand her so much more than ever before. (How great was Nicole Beharie through all of this?)
Next week, the show will be bringing us something a little bit different in “Magnum Opus,” as Tom Mison and company have to figure out a way to destroy their longtime foe Moloch once and for all, and before it is too late.
If you want to see some other scoop on all you can expect in this hour, just take a look at the short synopsis below:
“Abbie and Ichabod are on a quest to find a weapon of ultimate power to kill Moloch–the Sword of Methuselah–before the Headless Horseman can stop them.”
One thing that is interesting about this episode from a purely schedule perspective is that while next week marks the fall finale of “Gotham,” there is more of “Sleepy Hollow” that comes beyond next week. The reason we feel like this is happening is probably so that Fox can save the second part of the Batman prequel until early next year, when they can pair a chunk of it with “The Following” when it returns. Update: The promo below states that it IS the fall finale next week. The network must have changed its plans.
When it comes to “Sleepy Hollow,” though, all we hope is for something epic … and it typically is when Moloch is involved. There’s a reason that guy is one of the best villains.
