‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: In honor of David Ramsey’s birthday, Diggle scoop!
How can you not love John Diggle? David Ramsey has created one of the best characters on “Arrow,” and one of the best things about him is that he managed to craft this entire role without the built-in source material from the comics.
Admittedly, we spent the first year or so constantly afraid of whether or not the character was going to die, but we feel like we are starting to get to a place now where this happens a little bit less … mostly because if Diggle were to ever go, fans would probably revolt. The man is just too good to lose!
Today marks Ramsey’s birthday, so what better way to celebrate than with some great scoop on what is coming up for the character? TVLine reports that the upcoming two episodes are very important for Diggle and his relationship with Lyla, and on a different front, executive producer Marc Guggenheim claims that the show “just shot what I would describe as his most emotional scene, for Episode 10. It’s a terrific scene between him and Laurel, and David breaks your heart with his performance.”
There you go; a reason to be both excited and also insanely curious in regards to what is going to be coming up for the Diggle character. Obviously, we hope that whatever happens to Diggle this season isn’t bad, but the words “breaks your heart” make us worry to a certain extent.
Following this run of episodes this year, “Arrow” will return to The CW with all-new episodes once again in late January.

I love John Diggle and what I’m most excited for him this season is getting backstory of him and Andy Diggle leading into the HIVE story. I also want more DiggleFelicity scenes and continued growth of their friendship.
