‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and an argument

Why are Damon and Elena fighting on “The Vampire Diaries“? There are a number of different explanations that you could have for it, but the photo attached to this article should at least give you a little insight into how intense this episode will be.

This is going to take place on December 4, and Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev’s characters are clearly at odds about … something. This to us is mostly surprising by how the characters have so far mostly been in the mode of trying to make each other happy at all costs, in an attempt to bring their relationship back to what it once was.

What we do wonder is if there is going to be a major rift that causes these two characters to be apart in another way now: Emotionally. So long as Elena struggles to get all of those feelings for Damon back into her brain. There is no real obligation for her to spend a ton of time with the guy, and her deep feelings that just aren’t there won’t be a sort of gravitational pull.

Is the reason that they are fighting Bonnie-related? We also wonder that, given the next few episodes of the series on The CW are going to revolve very much around whether or not the characters are going to be able to rescue her from her present (and very difficult) situation. We’ll be shocked personally if there is not at least something reasonably close to resolution on this story by the time that the fall finale airs.
