‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Neil Patrick Harris currently filming role

For all of those excited to see Neil Patrick Harris turning up on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” we come today bearing some pretty great news: The actor has already starting to film his role!

Harris confirmed the news recently in a post on his Twitter account, which also happened to include a link for some incredible food he ate while out in New Orleans. The show has revealed some details about his character already, and with his talents, he could be a very interesting player near the end of the season.

If nothing else, this news basically confirms that the show is very near the end of filming for this season, which means a much-needed break is finally just about here for the cast. There has already been a fifth season ordered by FX, and while there are supposedly some clues about what you can hope to see in this story, nothing is officially confirmed.

One other thing to keep a lookout for over the coming weeks is more information on David Burtka’s role. Harris’ real-life husband also has a part coming up in the show’s finale, which should air at some point early next year.
