‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: First details on Morena Baccarin’s return
Odds are, you love Morena Baccarin. She was great in “Firefly,” she was great in “Homeland,” and her return to “The Mentalist” will hopefully be just as exciting.
Today, we are at least here to present some of the first news when it comes to “Orange Blossom Ice Cream,” the third episode of the season taking place on Sunday, December 14. This will be a chance to see what has happened to Erica Flynn since we last saw her, and how she may end up lending Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) a helping hand during a case.
Want to see some further news in terms of what you can expect? Then just be sure to look at the official synopsis below:
“Jane and Lisbon travel to Beirut where they must work with Jane’s familiar adversary Erica Flynn, who agrees to help the FBI apprehend her boyfriend, a courier for terrorist organizations, in exchange for amnesty for her past crimes.”
This episode to us sounds fun, and it is hopefully the beginning of what is a trend for the final season of the show giving us familiar faces from throughout the series’ run. Personally, we would love to see more of some other people like Rigsby and Van Pelt before this show comes to a close. After all, we love the show for its characters above all else, and that is what caused us to root for people like Jane and Lisbon so much in the first place.
The premiere of “The Mentalist” airs on Sunday, November 30, and you can see some more news in terms of what to expect from it right now at this link. Also, sign up if you want to get some further updates on all we cover right now via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo via CBS.)
