‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Jeremy Carver on ‘Fan Fiction’ expectations
Before we do anything else, we may as well start things off with the following: There’s no new “Supernatural” episode on The CW tonight. This is surely distressing to many, given that the one that we are looking forward to getting on the air is quite possible the most significant one we’ve had in a while. The title is the 200th episode “Fan Fiction,” and from what we hear, it will be a whole lot of meta fun across the board.
Speaking about some of his hope for this big, super-meta installment of the show to E! News, showrunner Jeremy Carver made it clear just how excited he is for fans of the show to watch it:
“I’m excited to see the fan reaction to it … We had a lot of fun with the episode. We took some risks and every time we do, we wonder if we’ve gone too far or if we’ve gone far enough. It’s fun for us to be on the edge of our seat and wonder how if the fans are going to like it as much as you do. But we think it’s a real fitting, slightly subversive salute to 200 episodes. I’m excited.”
The only real confirmation that we’ve gotten about this episode is that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be at a play that is basically being put on about their lives, and that they are the only two regulars appearing in the episode. However, there may be some other assorted cameos to look for. This is not your standard episode, and we’re pretty sure you would not want it to be.
