MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4, episode 18 video: Tamara, Sadie battle over cheerleading

On Tuesday night, there are many separate battles that are going to be taking place on MTV’s “Awkward,” but one of the biggest ones may very be happening within the confines of a cheerleading battle.

As the new video sneak peek gives away, the suspension of Lissa for her accidental drug binge is going to lead to there being a significant difference in opinion and also a massive battle for power at the top of the totem pole. They each have very different strategies and ideas for how to lead the group; Sadie wants to of course be Sadie and commission everyone to say something awful, while Tamara is much more interested in keeping the spirit of the act alive.

Really, the best part of this preview to us is simply the trade of insults. There are no characters better at trading zingers than these two, so having the opportunity to see them each do battle in the same environment is something we consider to be pretty darn special.

The only bummer here for us is that there are no other characters from the show featured heavily in here, and we have no clue how this fits into the larger storylines, such as relationships or what is going to happen for many of these characters after they graduate. Also, Jenna is not present here at all.

Alas, but we will likely have to see what awaits us when the next new episode of “Awkward” airs come Tuesday night. Stay tuned!
