‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 8 preview: Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, and … prom?

Tonight, “The Big Bang Theory” aired an episode that was certainly stuffed full of surprises. After all, there was a huge guest-star in Billy Bob Thornton that nobody could have saw coming.

With all of this being said, we don’t think that there is going to be another huge guest star on the show next week. Instead, there is another interesting theme in prom. This is something that we’re really surprised about based on the timing, mostly because we are currently in the middle of the fall. Why not do this in the spring?

Regardless, you can see the synopsis below for a few short details on what you can expect:

“When the gang recreates a high school prom on the roof the of the guys’ apartment building, Sheldon feels pressure to participate in all the typical romantic traditions.”

The photo of Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco at the “prom” is certainly a happy one, but in what is a big surprise to virtually no one, Sheldon’s going to have problems. He does not like dancing, he does not like dressing up, and he also does not like getting close to another human being. Prom is basically the intersection of everything that he hates.

Who knows, though? Maybe Amy can get another milestone out of this if it is at all possible.
