‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16 spoilers: Sophia Bush, other ‘Chicago PD’ stars to appear
So just who is going to be crossing over to “Law & Order: SVU” during the upcoming crossover event with “Chicago PD”? Well, we now have some official confirmation for you right now.
Per an NBC press release, Sophia Bush (Erin Lindsay), Jesse Lee Sofer (Jay Halstead), and Jason Beghe (Hank Voight) are all confirmed to be a part of the case on the NBC flagship series. Specifically, they are involved in a joint case involving children and unspeakable things. It revolves around an internet ring. and how these detectives will rely heavily on the SVU for some of their expertise as they try to uncover the source of this site.
At this point, we wonder if Bush in particular ever starts to get confused as to which series that she is actually on, given the number of appearances that she has made elsewhere. She had done many a crossover with “Chicago Fire” already, thanks to the relationship that she had with Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney).
Given that this is a crossover “event,” though, the nature of these crimes and the case is not going to be resolved in one hour. We’re going to see the story wrapped up more on “Chicago PD” airing a little later in the night.
When it comes to making sharp decisions to get viewers to tune into the show, we don’t really deny that this is a pretty darn smart move for NBC to be making. They want ratings, and this will get them some attention and hopefully some good numbers to go along with it. However, you do have to wonder if this will confusing for folks to watch in syndication.
Excited for this to air on November 12? Share with a comment now.

Are there many of you out there who feel that the Chicago P.D and SVU crossovers are necessary? I Didn’t think last seasons was that great, although any chance to see more Kelli Giddish is a good thing. I guess We will all just have to wait and see. Stay Tuned.
