ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 6 preview: Abby gets bold with Fitz

Tomorrow night, “Scandal” season 4 looks to potentially tell so much more about the Jake Ballard story, and in the process, we can certainly see Abby losing her job at the Oval Office in the process.

The video sneak peek below is not exactly one that paints President Grant in a positive light, but there is almost zero way that one can given his recent actions. Our newly-appointed Press Secretary practically begs him to let some information be known to Olivia on what is going on with her boyfriend, given that she is terrified for him to the point of nightmares.

Will Fitz relent? At first, he seems furious that Abby would even ask a question on this subject, given that nobody at a press conference has uttered a single word about Jake; however, by the end of this, he at least seems to be listening to the idea of dropping a nugget of information or to Kerry Washington’s character. After all, if he chooses not to, then he goes down the slippery slope of losing her forever. While he may not be in a relationship or a full-fledged affair with her right now, we imagine that he does not want to write off the possibility forever. Someday, he will not be President of the United States anymore, and there are more chances for the two to be together if they really still want to.

They just have to make it that far, which still sounds terrible to say since Mellie is in the picture, and we don’t want to see her hurt anymore by her husband. This is just how complicated this show is.
