‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 8 preview: Studying Charlie Hunnam’s Jax
“Sons of Anarchy” is at a point in the season right now where they know that, no matter what they choose to release, you are probably going to keep on watching. Therefore, they are not really stressing themselves out too much at all when it comes to the content that they choose to put out there.
Basically, this means that we continue to be left with images like the one attached here from Tuesday’s “The Separation of Crows,” which basically shows us “forlorn Jax,” and not a whole lot else other than the background of the photo. It also feels like he may be staring into the Sun, which makes us want to create some elaborate comparison between the character and Icarus.
Just think about it: He’s become so obsessed with the idea of power and revenge, he has lost the concept of the world around him. Sooner or later, he will burn as a result of his negligence, and the only question is what the show chooses to use for flames. Maybe they murder the character, or maybe they devise a fate that is worse than death for him. While we don’t feel like “Sons of Anarchy” is a show necessarily interested in teaching us a lesson regarding right and wrong, it’s hard to see how Jax goes about his ways here without consequence.
As a result of his actions, which are in turn a result of Gemma’s actions, we may lose Bobby Tuesday night; in addition, we may lose Juice, and some other characters could be lost in the crosshairs. For Charlie Hunnam fans, you can probably at least rest assured that he will likely make it at least to the series finale. It’s hard to see the series running without him.

Or maybe Jax takes a look at his life and makes redemptive choices.
The pieces this site used to do on SOA were so much better than this tripe. I’m not sure what happened to change it but I’m done with reading the tired, cynical crap you’re throwing out there now.
