ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Krista Allen joins Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion in ‘action movie’ episode

For one upcoming episode of “Castle” season 7, we’re going to see our lead characters take on a particularly notable case. Specifically, we are talking about one here that revolves around the murder of an action movie icon a la Sylvester Stallone.

While the actor at the center of the story has yet to be revealed, we do know now who is playing his wife, and it is an action-movie icon in her own right. Per a new report from TVLine, Krista Allen will be playing Naomi Duvray, who is a 1980s action-movie icon and spouse to Brock, the murder victim. Could she end up being a suspect? Given the way most of these cases go, we imagine that Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters will at least be asking her some questions.

This story will be the ninth episode of the season, which comes right before the big Christmas episode that will also apparently be a feature-of-sorts for the likes of Esposito and Lanie. Let’s hope that this turns out to be true. If the original date holds, this episode could also be after Castle and Beckett get married! We know that almost everyone is excited and hopeful for that to be coming up in the near future, so we have to hope that it will be and we’re not getting blindsided with another delay again.

After the Christmas episode, the show will once again go on hiatus until early next year, where it will then return with new stories.
