‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 5 preview: How Megan Boone, James Spader handle ‘The Front’

The Blacklist logo any seasonTonight, “The Blacklist” aired an episode that was all sorts of disturbing in “Dr. Linus Creel.” Megan Boone gave one of her finer performances, and we also had Reddington showing off even more of why we are supposed to fear him.

Next week, we have the mysterious episode entitled “The Front” that is basically going to be a continuation of what transpired on the NBC series tonight. If you haven’t seen the official synopsis for this just yet, you can right now below:

“Agents Keen (Megan Boone) Ressler, (Diego Klattenhoff), and Cooper (Harry Lennix) pursue an eco-terrorist cell in search of a destructive weapon. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) tries to lose her guardian. Elsewhere, Red (James Spader) uses manipulation to pursue someone close to his heart.”

The promo that aired following the end of this episode looked equally dramatic, as we started to figure out that there really is someone out there who is more important to Red than even Liz. Their name? Jennifer. We hear more and more about her, but Naomi telling him that she doesn’t know where his daughter is going to cause an interesting situation for Red.

The one thing that we do seemingly know at the moment? That Liz is not the daughter, and we seem to have photographic proof of that now. In the end, we’re mostly interested now in what this connection truly is, and what will happen on this super-intense series the rest of the way this season. There is a crazy road ahead!
