“Chicago PD” has already seen its fair share of troubles through just the span of a few episodes. For example, we saw Halstead forced into dealing with an assailant, and Lindsay has already taken on a variety of problems, which include a troubled relationship, some shocking revelations about Voight, and her mother’s personal life.

So what’s next for these officers? Well, Antonio Dawson may find himself a little bit of work away from the department. Per a new report from TVLine, Michael Park of “As the World Turns” will appear in at least three episodes this coming season as Asher Roslyn, a diamond dealer who is looking for some security late at night. This marks a great opportunity for this particular Dawson to earn some extra cash, but you have to wonder whether or not it is really worth it.

Let’s just put it this way: If things are going well and you never feel particularly threatened, are you going to need to hire some extra security? Our guess is “probably not.” Instead, you will probably just continue to go about your business.

At the same time, we’d be idiotic to sit here and pretend that this is the first time any character on this show found themselves in a tricky predicament. We’re just worried, given that we already saw with Shay over on “Chicago Fire” that Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, and the writers are not afraid to make big moves that will rock this world.
