‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ preview: Is Drew too lazy for his own good?

Drew Christy -If you remember back before “Survivor: San Juan del Sur” even began, it was pretty easy to be hard on Drew Christy as a contestant. Even though he was in shape, he seemed to also think that he was the greatest thing to ever happen to mankind.

In the sneak peek video below, we also get another view of that as he decides to give up and lie there. In the words of Keith, he can’t really say what he thinks about Drew’s laziness because it would get him in trouble. (Probably not the best time to make the “we still spank, we still whup” statement.)

While Keith keeps his comments to the confessional, Natalie confronts him outright about it. While this tribe hasn’t lost yet, when they do you have to think that this guy is going to find himself in big trouble. Even though he’s a physical asset, you don’t want to take a guy to the merge you’re not getting along with. He’ll jump ship, especially since he has no real alliance.

We will at least take a minute to talk about Jeff hosting this “Survivor Live” show, since YouTube and many in the show community are up in arms over it. Ultimately, our assessment is this: Parvati Shallow moved to New York, and since CBS wanted to keep this show seemingly in Los Angeles, it wasn’t feasible for her to keep doing it. We would prefer to see someone like a Malcolm Freberg host it, given he already lives in the area and is a longtime fan of the game, but we’re not shocked Jeff is doing it. He’s already on the CBS payroll, and it’s probably easier on their part to just go with one guy.
