‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: Meet characters for upcoming spin-off

At the moment, not a whole lot has been revealed, confirmed, or really even discussed when it comes to the upcoming spin-off for “The Walking Dead.” Mostly what we know is that it could premiere next year, it could have a slightly-more-urban setting, and that it is more of a companion series to the original in that there are no plans to bring over any characters on the current show.

Now that we have said all that, why not take a minute to introduce some of the people you could be meeting on this new show? This list of names comes to us primarily courtesy of TVLine.

Sean Cabrera – He is a Latino man in his forties, and seems to be a hero by most standards. He doesn’t want to let anyone now.

Cody Cabrera – Think Carl, but possibly more badass. He has a reputation for having a temper.

Nancy Tompkins – She is in her thirties and a mother of two, and there is a whole lot more to her than you first see on the surface. Big surprise there.

Nick Tompkins – Almost the opposite of Cody. He is Nancy’s teenage son, who lives in constant confusion of what he should be doing with himself.

Ashley Tompkins – In turn, almost the opposite of Nick all over again. She is supremely confident, intelligent, and knows that there is more to life than what she is currently doing. She just has to figure out a way.

Andrea Chapman – A woman in her forties, Andrew is described as being a “flower child” who is in need of some sort of recovery. She had a terrible marriage, and she is still in the process of recovering from that.
