ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7: See Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic in fantastic new poster
For their latest season 7 poster, the folks over at “Castle” have decided to have a little bit of fun. This one captures the current theme of the show, but actually feels like a movie you would go to see many decades ago, or an ad for a mystery novel you would see in an old-timey publication. Even including Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s names on here works, even if you already know very well already who the two parties are.
This poster was first shared on the show’s official Facebook page, with the promise that if the page gets 300,000 likes, they will release an extended sneak peek of the upcoming premiere episode “Driven.” For the record, it currently has well over 100,000 within a few hours of it being posted. We’re sure that it will have more by the time tomorrow rolls around. Hopefully, we will even be able to post the sneak peek and discuss it here.
The first episode of the new season will revolve heavily around seeing if Fillion’s Rick finds a way to survive his current predicament, which we are sure he will given that there is really no show without him. Following that, though, there are still many other questions that will need to be answered, including who is the responsible party for his capture, and what is going to happen from here. This is not a story that the writers are planning to completely resolve in the early going. It’ll take some time.

I gave up on Castle after last season’s predictable finale. The only way to let the writers know they failed is not to watch. I was really tired of the same ole, same ole cliff-hanger scenario. The will they or won’t they ever get married theme simply because the writers can’t figure out how to take the characters forward. Well, if you can’t figure it out then end the series. Fillion seems to be phoning in his performance anyway.
