ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2: Michelle Fairley hyped up again in new art
“Resurrection” really wants you to know that Michelle Fairley is a part of this cast for the upcoming season. After all, they keep including her time and time again in almost every bit of promotional material there is.
Then again, we certainly get it. Fairley was awesome on “Game of Thrones,” and just as great in both “Suits” and “24: Live Another Day.” She is the sort of guest star who can bring more attention and viewers to your show, and despite the ratings for this show and the quality of it, for some reason it got lost in the promotional shuffle for much of the first season. When it ended up becoming a hit, it was a nice surprise given that we didn’t see a whole lot of people talking about it beforehand.
This image features Fairley’s Margaret Langston seeing her son Henry (Kurtwood Smith) again for the first time since her death, and this is sure to throw everyone through the wringer yet again. Margaret has been dead for a long time, and she actually appears younger than her son, who in turn looks old enough to be his own son’s grandfather. Basically, it is more believable that Jacob is her child than Henry’s.
Is there a twist coming with this character? You better believe it, given that Margaret has been through quite a bit over the course of her life, and there may be some secrets that she is hiding, and ones that are very important to the direction of the series the rest of the way. We’ll just have to wait and see how the present themselves within the context of this story.
