‘White Collar’ season 6: Premiere date for Matt Bomer, cast confirmed!

WhatWhen will “White Collar” season 6  premiere? USA was kind enough today to finally make the news official, almost even faster than we thought that they would: Thursday, November 6 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.

This is great news for fans of Matt Bomer and company, since we felt like this was in the early window for when the show was going to come back on the air. We weren’t ruling out that they were going to make you wait until early next year to see the show again.

The drama will be paired with the second half of “Covert Affairs” season 5, which further confirms that “Suits” will return at some point in 2015 given that USA likes to space out their original shows outside of summer. Many of their other shows ended their seasons this summer, including “Graceland” and “Royal Pains” (who are still waiting to learn their futures beyond this year).

The downside of “White Collar” season 6 is that we literally have six episodes to tell the story. As for the upside, at least be happy that there is a final season at all. There are so many other shows out there  that don’t get this opportunity, with “Longmire” potentially leading the pack after A&E made the shocking move to cancel it.

Could there still be a future for “White Collar” beyond this season, like a movie someday? That will all depend on how the show ends, and we’re better suited to wait and see how the series ends before thinking about anything else.

We’ll have more news on the final season soon, so stay tuned!
