‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Katrina and the modern world

One of the simple joys of “Sleepy Hollow” is watching the Ichabod Crane character (played by Tom Mison) struggle to figure out how to bridge his Revolutionary War sensibilities and the conveniences of the modern world. He bemoaned skinny jeans, struggled with cellular technology, and was a part of a very fun exchange involving Starbucks back in the pilot.

Now, the show is getting an opportunity to do at least something similar now for its upcoming episodes with Katrina (Katia Winter), who is just now arriving in the modern world. While we are sure that she will struggle with adapting in some capacities, there is at least one element in fashion that she starts to understand a little bit more than her husband. Speaking to TVLine in a new interview, executive producer Mark Goffman had this to say about it, while describing her style as “pretty edgy”:

“I would say she doesn’t cling to her wardrobe the way that Crane does … She’s a much cooler dresser in a way of mixing and matching the modern era with her own.”

This season premieres on Monday, September 22, and there will of course be many more serious threats for these characters to deal with. Some of these include the likes of having to deal with Jeremy Crane (John Noble) on the loose, the other Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and the monster at the center of it all in Moloch. You will also learn more about Abbie’s past, and meet a variety of new characters.
