‘Person of Interest’ season 4 spoilers: Could someone bail on the team?
Going into “Person of Interest” season 4, we are certainly finding much of the team in an interesting place. They are completely segmented off with Samaritan on the loose, and they have to figure out if there is even a way to get Team Machine back together and be the good guys once again.
As you would expect, there are going to be many problems with such a move … with one of the biggest ones being that not everyone may be all that into getting the team together again right away. Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Jonathan Nolan suggests that Finch in particular may be hesitant on making his way back into the fold after some of what he has been through:
“Finch has come to a place of doubting the intentions of his creation … Finch has been much more measured in his belief in what his creation is doing. He’s a lot more conflicted about it and that conflict will only continue.”
Eventually, we’d like to think that the whole gang will get back together again, but we may also be saying that from our own personal place of idealism. After all, we really like these characters, and want to see them coming together with a common goal once again. With that being said, it does make a good deal of sense that some would be questioning right now if they are really fighting the good fight anymore, or instead just buying their time.
The new season premieres in just a matter of weeks now, so we will get a chance to have a little bit of closure.
