ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Official details on ‘Randy, Red, Superfreak, and Julia’
We are now just over two weeks away from the season 4 premiere of “Scandal,” and yet we still sit here and wonder to ourselves what in the world the title for the episode is supposed to mean. “Randy, Red, Superfreak, and Julia” is just such a random thing to call your episode, and it makes you wonder all sorts of questions: is this a hit list, nicknames for Gladiators, or a reference to some song we’ve never heard?
We imagine that all will be revealed come Thursday, September 25, but for the time being, our advice to you is simply that you check out the attached synopsis for some details that are actually easier to wrap your head around:
“Nearly two months after Olivia and Jake boarded a private jet to stand in the sun together, everything has changed. With another four years in the White House, Fitz and Cyrus are doing everything they can to make a positive impact on the nation. Meanwhile, Mellie struggles to cope with the loss of her son and the gladiators feel the impact of Olivia’s absence.”
While this is a nice little way to catch up on everything that happened at the end of season 3, we feel like we also need to be honest here in saying that these are all things that could have been figured out just by reading into everything that’s happened so far. It makes sense for Fitz to try to be a good President, just as it makes sense for Mellie to be in mourning and for the Gladiators to be struggling.
Just to make matters even more mysterious, the guest cast is not even listed for the episode yet. This cannot be that surprising, though, given that Shonda Rhimes does have a strict no-spoilers policy going on right now when it comes to the show.
