‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16 spoilers: See Mariska Hargitay’s Benson, baby Noah in premiere photos
We know that many CarterMatt readers are big Benson fans, so we thought we’d single out a pair of new super-sweet photos from the September 24 premiere “Girls Disappeared” that really focus on Mariska Hargitay’s character and baby Noah. These images really show you just how far Benson has come in the past decade and a half, and also what she has at stake now. Will she continue to battle crime and try to stop the most horrible people in all of New York City? Definitely, but she has to plan out her approach differently to keep out of harm’s way.
Even with this being said, Benson and her hopefully-adopted son still face threats in the premiere, which is going to be one of the first major tests that she has to ensure as a mother. This is also one of the first real windows that we’ll get to see when it comes to her dual life. More than ever, she now has her time in the squad room, and then her time at home. Like millions of other parents out there, she will have to learn to prioritize her time and balance things out.
The story of Baby Noah is not something that will be resolved in a single episode, either. Expect the child to be a part of numerous stories throughout the season, and also someone Benson constantly has to think about.
