NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 7: Adam Levine does impressions galore with Jimmy Fallon

The Voice -Apparently, Adam Levine has talent beyond just being a rock star and an occasional actor / producer: He can also do impressions!

The Maroon 5 frontman / “The Voice” coach appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” this week promoting his album “V” and much more, and all of this led to him playing a game of celebrity singing impressions with Jimmy. Not only did he have to perform as a star from the music world, but also sing an incredibly silly song in the process.

We won’t spoil Jimmy’s impressions here in case you want some element of surprise, but here is our take on some of Adam’s.

  1. Frank Sinatra – Really good. We didn’t see this one coming, but this is probably the best one that Adam did.
  2. Michael Jackson – Not the best, given that he struggled to find the key, and you could really tell this was just Adam Levine altering his voice slightly.
  3. Eddie Vedder – The impression of the Pearl Jam singer was actually pretty great, though it was quiet while he sang “The Muffin Man” as he was also drowned out by the crowd.

The new season of “The Voice” premieres on NBC come Monday, September 22, and hopefully Adam has some chances to have fun in there, as well. At the same time, we’re sure that he and fellow coaches Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams will also uncover some talent. If Adam actually uses some of these impressions on the show itself, we will be both very surprised and delighted at the same time.
