TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Elena takes on the Ewings

Just in case you were wondering just how crazy things were going to get on Monday night’s new episode of “Dallas” … the answer to that is “very.” After all, we’ve got a variety of proof of it in a variety of different forms.

For one thing, the episode is entitled “Hurt,” and that alone suggests various degrees of pain and suffering. Also, this is going to be the episode where Elena really fights back, and there are going to be some other plans from Bobby and Nicolas that start to really come intro fruition now as the third season heats up. No one in the Ewing family tree is going to be safe, even family members who are not always so prominent these days. Take a look at the official synopsis below:

“In a thrilling showdown, Elena finally confronts the Ewings for what J.R. did to her father and for framing Cliff. Sue Ellen, Pamela and Ann are shocked over the truths Elena exposes, realigning relationships and forcing Bobby to re-examine the steps he took to implement J.R.’s master plan. Meanwhile, Nicolas’ plan to steal Ewing Global for the Cartel moves forward, setting the stage for a new battle.”

This episode sounds, to be pretty frank, pretty action-packed. It’s an opportunity to really get to see the Southfork drama as it is done best, and we hope that this momentum carries over the rest of the season.

One bit of good news here? At least this episode is not going to be airing against the Emmys, which is at least a moderate relief. Instead, there will be some other, standard competition.
