‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: The origins of AshLee Frazier – Clare Crawley drama
We knew that there was going to be some big-time drama on Monday’s “Bachelor in Paradise” episode, and there is now some hilarious evidence of just where most of it is going to come from.
In the video below, you can see AshLee Frazier have a conversation with Zack Kalter, where she warns him explicitly about tying himself down with Clare Crawley unless he is completely sure that she’s the one. First, she says that she likes Clare, but then also calls her “cuckoo” and reminder him of a certain rendezvous that she had with Juan Pablo Galavis in the ocean during that season. Basically, this is the “Bachelor” version of saying “with all due respect” before saying some terrible stuff.
All of this is made mostly entertaining to us by the fact that AshLee thinks that she is not on camera for the discussion, and therefore feels entitled to speak her mind freely. Let this be a lesson to all future reality TV contestants: ALWAYS assume that a camera is on you! Otherwise, you’re going to come across looking like someone who acts differently when the lens isn’t on you.
Eventually, you have to think that Zack will let Clare in on some of what was said, and this in turn could cause Graham Bunn to doubt whether or not this is someone he really wants to spend a whole lot of time with moving forward. This could all blow up in her face here very badly, and largely because she felt the need to speak out on matters that don’t really have anything to do with her.
