‘Big Brother 16’ exclusive: Zach Rance on ‘saboteur’ label, throwing competitions
We’ve made it to secret that we love the Zach Attack on “Big Brother 16,” and for good reason. He was entertaining, he was unpredictable, and he constantly made sure that he gave us something to watch. He probably wasn’t the best strategic mind in show history, but he also was hindered massively in the game by Team America, and getting constantly thrown under the bus.
There are two unfortunate things about our interview with Zach today are that it is done via email rather than the phone (hence the super-short answers, since he has like a million of these to do), and that we can’t ask about anything that he is not aware of already. Still, there are at least a couple of things in here that are good information to have, including that had he been on the block with Donny, he wouldn’t have gone through with the plan to throw the challenge.
CarterMatt – How frustrating was it for you to deal with all the “saboteur” accusations that came at you?
Zach Rance – Not too frustrating. It was very entertaining.
Do you think you’ll be friends outside the game with not just Frankie, but with everyone in the house?
Everyone but Victoria.
Who do you blame the most for being backdoored?
Frankie.
Would you have thrown the Battle of the Block if you were nominated this past week alongside Donny?
No, I would have guaranteed my safety.
When you get out of jury, is one of the first things you do going to be to find yourself a new pink hat?
Yes.
So there you have it, the world’s shortest interview! This is what happens when the Zach Attack is not on his daily allotment of 12+ a sleep a week, and also has to spend all morning doing this.
Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to do something further with Zach in the future, but you can read our other “Big Brother” updates now at this link. Also, sign up to get more on everything we cover right now via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
